Dan Van Eldik

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dan joined the Prince team as a Draftsman in the spring of 1987. Seven years later he moved into the Chief Draftsman spot and later was promoted to Regional Sales Manager. In 2011, he became the Executive Vice President. In 2017, Dan assumed the position of President and CEO of Prince Manufacturing Corporation.

Dan has provided Prince Manufacturing Corporation over 35 years of excellence and experience. He is an exceptional visionary leader with high-caliber cross-functional management qualifications in sales, marketing, operations and business management.

Dan received an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 1987 and a Bachelors in Science from Wayne State College in 1994.

Richard Sindt

Chief Financial Officer

Richard joined Prince in 2012 as a Manufacturing Cost Analyst. He was later promoted to Corporate Controller and in 2019 became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Prince Manufacturing. He is responsible for the company’s financial management functions including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, and tax. He also oversees the company’s procurement, information systems, and environmental departments.

Richard is an 18-year business veteran. Preceding his career at Prince, Richard managed the overall accounting of fixed assets and economic incentives at one of the most technologically-advanced food companies in the world.

Richard earned his BBA degree with an emphasis in Accounting from The University of Iowa in 2005. Richard serves as a member of the board of directors for a number of local non-profits that are focused on offering athletic opportunities to the youth of the Siouxland area.

Scott Knaack

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Scott joined the Prince Manufacturing Corporation team as Vice President of Distribution in January of 2004. A year later he became the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Scott brought over 15 years of manufacturing expertise to Prince Manufacturing Corporation and has been an influential leader here for the past 19 years. He is known for forming enduring customer relationships and for developing high-performance teams. Scott’s coaching style doesn’t employ a one-size-fits-all style but rather, adapts his style to suit each individual.

Scott graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a minor in Marketing in 1993. Scott served as President of the River Valley School District Athletic Booster club from 2015 – 2020 and is currently the President on the River Valley School District School Board. He also sits on the board of directors of the Correctionville Building Center.
